Hi Topoldo, you should first open an Issue titled "[Proposal] Add Italian translation" to ask if they accept new language PRs, since submitting one without prior discussion may get closed; then fork the repo, create a folder named it inside locales, copy the contents from locales/en, translate only the values (keep keys in English), add Italian to locale-identifiers.json, and submit a PR to the develop branch — in the PR description, mention that some strings need a practical test and ask the maintainers to verify them; if no one replies to your Issue within a week, you can proceed with the PR anyway. |

Hi.
I already asked info about this but nobody gave me an answer.
I prepared the translation into Italian for Marktext, based on September 15 2026 (ie yesterday) English code, but I don't know:
So my question is: do have I to add also a line for Italian? If so, who will add its content to all other languages .json files?
Regards,
Topoldo
