Age nodes on map view (filter stale nodes)

I run a node that is stationary and I log into it every once in a while. When I check the map it shows like 40 to 50 nodes, however, many of them are 30 days old etc. Would it be a big lift to use a dimmed icon and a visibility check box for nodes that have not checked in within a day (or some set time) that way you still have the option to see all nodes but also can filter out stale old node at a click? Thanks!
