Is HTTP/3 (QUIC) support for the HAProxy-based Ingress Router planned for future OKD releases?
Background
We're evaluating HTTP/3 adoption in our infrastructure and noticed that while HAProxy 2.8+ (used in OKD 4.16+) technically supports HTTP/3, it appears to be explicitly disabled in the OpenShift Router configuration (see openshift/router#551 - no-alpn directive).
Questions
Is HTTP/3 support planned for the default HAProxy Ingress Router in upcoming OKD releases?
If yes: What is the estimated timeline or target release?
If no: What is the recommended approach for users requiring HTTP/3 support?
Should we evaluate alternative ingress controllers (NGINX Ingress Controller)?
Is there a supported way to enable HTTP/3 in the current HAProxy router?
Would appreciate any insights on roadmap or guidance on best practices!
