Old dependencies are removed while adding a new

Hi thanks for this amazing tool. It is really fast and save disk space.

pnpm version = 7.0.0-rc.2

I am facing an issue. When I try to add a new dependency using the following command, it is removing old dependencies.
pnpm add <package>

I am attaching a screenshot, please have a look

Also when I add a package, it is not adding in package.json file. How can I update the package.json as well?
