Supabase Bolt Password reset not working

Hey,

I use Bolt.new, and the project uses Supabase and when I tried to reset my password, the reset password page didn't load. I didn't need it to work, so I was going to come back to it.

I need it to work now, and despite allthe things bolt tells me to do, it never works. I don't even get to the actual reset password screen.

I get something like

This site can’t be reached
localhost refused to connect.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

I can't even connect to the local host.

Has anyone had this issue?

Should I blow the whole thing up and start again? Use another platform? It is frustrating because you think it would just work.

I have figured out the issue.

The password reset link was opening a new browser tab, but I needed to take that link and open it within the bolt environment.

Wasted hours on that.

im having the same issue, but what do you mean open within the bolt environment? I'm building Lovable to develop, but i cant think of how i would open a link within that environment.

Hey,

I am not sure about Lovable, but for me it is the address bar in the preview area

I clicked the password reset in the email, it opened in a new tab. I copied that link in the address bar in the bolt area.

After doing that it made more sense as it was looking for the local host but how the bolt AI was explaining it didnt make sense because they didnt specificly say what they wanted me to do.
