I'm trying to develop 2FA authentication by sending OTP to mail in My project, I tried to findout bestway to implement, 2Fa but I didnt get any solution, please help me and tell me ,Does ory provide 2FA authentication by sending OTP to email ?

Hello there, Ory supports many very secure MFA methods such as TOTP, FIDO2, WebAuthn, and recovery keys.

Email/SMS OTP are currently in the works but not yet available.

Hey! We're working on Email OTP and will subsequently tackle SMS. Q1 and Q2, respectively, are realistic - we have many things going on right now, but obviously hope to ship as quickly as possible!

Thanks Klaus! Looking forward to it. A lot of financial institutions use SMS/Email OTPs for 2FA so this feature would definitely increase adoption.

Sorry - we had to push this back as we worked on features and improvements requested by our enterprise clients. It's still very high on the priority list for Ory Identities features but I can't give a definite ETA yet.
