Image size limit

It seems that there is an image size limit around 10k x 10k.
For larger images no error is issued but no output is saved.

I did not explicitly set the size limit. However, it may happen. Could you send me an image that produces a "no output" problem?

You can for instance try it with a 16.384x16.384 black PGM image (I used ImageJ to create the image but any software should do).

I tried to reproduce the problem in the latest code on the main branch with 16384x16384 ppm.
However, I could not. If the problem still remains on your side, could you kindly report with the information about your development-environment?
