I am writing an analyser for forest compartments, which are defined as polygons in OSM. Because of incomplete support for polygons, I convert both the open data and the OSM objects into points before conflating them to detect missing objects in OSM.
Ideally, this would require to set an option that prevents Osmose from proposing to apply fixes, fear of users creating POIs instead of proper polygons. But I was told that this option does not yet exist. It would be great if it could be added.
