The optimized splits algorithm seems buggy.

The initial investigation leads to concluding that the dynamic programming table isn't constructed correctly.

This started being evident when swapping 10^17 upepe for USDC

  • Investigate the algorithm from first principles
  • Apply fixes where applicable
  • Document in-detail
