Just wanted to know how this project updates vulnerabilities and other things to latest or does it update over specific time period ?

Asking this question because as you know from security point of view we need to have latest information about vulnerabilities,bugs etc etc so that we can detect and fix things as fast as possible so is there any manual way to get up to date with servers from where it fetches information from different or specific source maintained by team which will be best solution in my opinion to gather info about latest bugs,vulnerabilities rather than or updating docker image from time to time.
Like there are adblock host files maintained over github and we use the link of github repo which has host and file and inside that hosts gets daily updated to we dont have to worry about redownloading host file as it auto fetches info from repo so if similar kind of system can be implemented here then it would be awesome
