[FEATURE REQUEST] - Expose MCP server to local network

Hello, currently the MCP server is exposed to http://127.0.0.1:19789/mcp meaning an agent on the network can't access. Would it be possible to add local network access and add authentication?

Personally,I don't mind it being http://0.0.0.0:19789/mcp but I know thats not best practice for the security conscious.

hi, we do it intentionally to gate behind 127.0.0.1 for security reason.

what would be the use case for a cloud agent accessing it?

Not a cloud agent, I have my agent running on another machine on the local network.

Opened #188 implementing this as an off-by-default, auth-gated opt-in so the loopback security default is preserved. When enabled it binds a configurable host and requires a bearer token (constant-time compare, 401 on mismatch); when off, behavior is unchanged. The Agent settings pane exposes the toggle, connection URL, and a copyable token. AI was used for assistance.
