Changing the provider

Hi,
This is just a usage question rather than an issue, most likely with a simple answer.
I am not familiar with python, and would like to select an alternate provider rather than than the default powerdns. My provider is actually my own installation not one of the included providers.

I have got it working by making a copy of the powerdns default provider, amended the code to suit our deployment and calling it as if it was the default provider.

How can I create my own provider file, and have the code use it as its default?
