Deleting old/expired sessions through automated task?

Is there an automated task associated with this package that will clean-up and remove expired sessions? I saw there was the ability to delete all sessions through the WP Admin Console, however, I was looking for an option to keep all active session and just remove the old and expired sessions for each user.

There appears to be a PHP Session Handler GC function that is supposed to cleanup old sessions, however this never appears to run for us. I expect a scheduled wordpress task that does the cleanup is probably required.
