Description
Hello.
I am working on making conversions of various papers related to margin distributions to PyTorch. This work has interested me and I would like to include a pytorch version in my repository. I am nearly done with a conversion of Yiding Jiang's 2019 paper "Predicting the Generalization Gap in Deep Networks with Margin Distributions".
I would love to include your work, however, I am a little bit wary of using unlicensed code. I am doing this just as a hobby currently, so I do not plan on commercializing anything. But, regardless, I believe very strongly in permissive licenses as it allows for a more free environment with which to code. I am currently using the MIT license, and if you use something similiar (MIT , Apache, or BSD) that would be great, as I could incoporate your code for comparison and testing purposes. But ultimately it is your decision. This is a great library and I am looking forward to replicating it :]
