The autoupdater automatically polls github releases every 4 hours to get the latest version of the app, but sometimes it might be beneficial to force the update check and restart the app.

Where do you prefer to add this menu button ? Create a new menu ? Or use an existant one ?

Can this be p2p also? Like if anyone in your channels has a newer version, you get notified?
