Update output config option and document it wrt README and deployment instructions

Summary

Currently set to standalone. This is technically only required if you are doing something with the resulting build artifact and want to minimize its size, i.e. putting it in a docker image. The artifact is completely functional but requires additional steps to run correctly and this should be documented and made configurable depending on how the application is being built to run.
