Cannot Restore 1.4.0.4 Menu Bar #34
Comments
You can temporarily get the menu back by tapping the Alt-key. Then you can go back into the view-tab and reenable the Menu Bar. |
I was really fed up trying to bring the menu back from the last one hour. Luckily I saw your trick and thanks a lot! |
lol ... thanks ! I also struggled a lot. |
Menu Bar [F3] Show or Hide the Menu Bar |
Hello, I tried both ALT-key and F3. Nothing works. Would you please help me? |

Alt or F3... Thx a lot |
Thanks, @Gollee ALT and F3 also work for me. But you should not be in the terminal. Click on the top second row anywhere then press ALT or F3. Hope this will work. |
Thanks a ton, Alt did the trick for me. |
Thanks to github community - always the place to be ;-) |
Hello All,
First off, very nice tool. I use PuTTY exclusively and normally have many sessions open at any given time, and SuperPuTTY makes life easy 👍
One problem I ran into. I was playing around on menu bar (File, View, Tools, Help) and somehow (I did it, just don't remember how I did it) I hid the menu bar but I've been unable to restore it. The only way I could get it bask was to put 1.4.0.3 in over the top of 0.4. I tried putting a new 0.4 extract back in over 0.3 but no menu bar again. How do I get it back on 0.4 ?
The install was to a custom location, d:\Tools v.s. the default in C: .. .. ..
Also, is there a way to run / re-run the initial superputty.exe in configure mode again ?
Thanks
KI7MT
