Aquire Switch[es] to resurrect LAN boxes

The following has been discussed in a private repository earlier.

There are LAN sockets all over the offices which lead into the meeting room. There are 4 patchbays with approx. 20 jacks each. We need a switch to connect these to the Router [...] and supply the offices with wired network.

I found this: a Smart Switch 6000 by Cabletron Systems. [...]
Else, maybe a combination of this 16 port switch and this 24 port switch should do the trick.

Further communication with the organisators has shown that

• We get approximately 40 Euro to spend on the switch.
• Additional costs will have to be taken over by the teams.

Status momentan: Zwei hoffentlich funktionstüchtige Switches liege vor Ort, ich warte auf die Lieferung der Patchkabel, für die ich dann eine Rechnung über mein Gewerbe schreibe.
