I’m working on a native Home Assistant panel/integration so people can use Claude directly inside HA (no Claude Code required). I’d love community feedback on needs, workflows, and gotchas for building a first-class in-HA experience.

Goals (current branch)

• Add a native HA panel under the sidebar for Claude Agent.
• Provide chat interface to create automations inside HA
• Use Claude Agent SDK instead of Claude Code for agentic work
• Maintain all the deterministic validation the project has

Feedback I’m looking for

• What must-have capabilities should an in-HA Claude panel include?
• What workflows are painful today with Claude Code that a native panel should improve?
• Any Home Assistant constraints or security concerns I should plan for?
• Preferred interaction model: chat-first, task-based, or template-driven?
