Support for Riak 2.0

I am not sure whether at least basic operations with Riak 2.0 are available via this library. Riak 2.0 is currently available as beta.

Things which are new in Riak 2:

• bucket types
• data types (map, ...)
• advanced search (yokozuna)

If they are not supported yet, is there an estimate or roadmap for adding them? Will you wait until Riak 2.0 release?

I'd guess we should wait until 2.0 becomes RC, where APIs will be frozen and then we could work on support without the need to keep changing as they modify during beta phase.

There is no support for 2.0 features yet.
I was hoping we could switch to basho's c client first, but it is not turning out as I had hoped so will have to do it from scratch.
There is no roadmap, it pretty much depend on how much spare time I will have.
(Imo. there will go sometime before there is a stable 2.x )

I started to work on 2.0 support on the c library.

Most calls to riak will now have an optional timeout and bucket type, any good ideas on how to fit that into the current architecture?

I am thinking the following:
BucketType should be simply added to the Bucket object (optional constructor parameter), so it is set implicit on all operations on that bucket.

Timeout will be added to the different Inputs (eg. PutInput and so on).

I will update php_riak_stub project with the changes I plan to make a long the way, I will post a heads up before releasing and maybe you could review the api changes and give better ideas if something can be better.

I'm working on a php land client for riak 2.0 that support protocol buffers and http transport..
Are you guys OK if I move it under the php-riak organization ?
