Can I use Docker FrankenPHP with a JSON Caddy config?

Along with Caddyfile, Caddy also supports JSON format for configs. I would find it easier to work with JSON, as it is more amenable to programmatic manipulation.

Docker-based FrankenPHP nevertheless seems to have /etc/caddy/Caddyfile hardwired.

Is there a way to indicate another config file? E.g. an internal environmental variable?

Yes you can. Just remove /etc/caddy/Caddyfile in your own Dockerfiule and change the ENTRYPOINT to run the Caddy command you want.
