If the OGCS can run as a service, I will be very grateful.

I do not like to have too many programs open on the Taskbar and since it is a program that needs no user action, it will be better as a service.

Anyway, they OGCS works perfect for me, just this little irritating thing.

Whilst the majority of the time user interaction isn't needed, there are situations where it is useful to display information or require input from the user, so a service has been intentionally avoided.

However, you can set OGCS to run in the system task tray, which is pretty unobtrusive: Settings > Application Behaviour > Minimise to tray instead of taskbar.
