To allow users to do inference on the models using real data, we need to store it somewhere. I'm guessing this would just (for starters) be in each folder? We'd also need to figure out some way of documenting the data...

The data formats may end up varying significantly from model to model.
For the hydrology model, my plan is to have a data directory with the raw data file in the typical format, as well as a processing script to get the data in a format usable for inference.
One option for detailed documentation is a readme file within each data directory.
