Differences between Gitcoin Passport Score and Faucet Passport Score #56
Comments
Heya, Thanks for your report. So yea, there seem to be quite a few on your passport that do not have a score yet:
I'll check for other missing ones and will add a score to these in the next days :) |
I've added these 5 stamps with a score of 1 and slightly increased the score matrix by 2 points. |

A few more stamps that need some scoring from my side... Switching over to the passport scoring model would need some code changes - especially the manual verification & all scoring related code needs to be removed. |
I will be waiting for developments |

There were actually a lot more stamps that either had a score but do not exist anymore, or had no score yet. Also adjusted the boost factors. |

Hello. Could you please look into new Gitcoin passport scoring system. They reworked Eth stamps and removed Facebook stamp. Greatly appreciated |
I've updated the stamp mapping :) |
Thank you very much. Now all my stamps are recognized. Did you change how the Hashrate is calculated? Because I think my current hash rate is lower now. |
The hasrate should only depend on your hardware.. Does the faucet suddenly show a lower hashrate for you? |
Hello. Today I mined a bit of goerli. Got more goerli, because of higher
boost. But the hash rate I think it was lower. Today I varied from 100-150,
but usually it is around 150-200 I think. I don't monitor the hash rate
very closely. Just at the beginning and end when I claim funds. Hope it
helps.
Best regards

However, the rewards you get for each hash depends on the faucet activity.
There's currently a quite high activity, so the faucet automatically
adjusts the rewards to meet the global daily outflow limit.
Does the faucet suddenly show a lower hashrate for you?
Or do you just get less ETH for mining with the same hashrate?

so do i get a boost with a 20 score on gitcoin passport? |
yes :) |
Thank you for enabling the PoW Faucet for Sepolia.
When trying to increase reward boost, I see differences between Gitcoin's passport score and the score that the Faucet shows (after refreshing score). The faucet recognizes the stamps but adds no value to some of them.
I hope a screenshot reflects clearly what I am trying to say:
In addition to the ones in the screenshots, the "ZksyncEra" stamp adds no value neither.
I suspect it has to do with updating something on the Faucet's code?
Hope I explained myself clearly and thank you very much for creating such service!!!
