Homework for Wednesday 11/16

Apologies for posting the lecture videos so late. I tried to limit the length of the videos so you have time to watch the videos before Wednesday.

Here is a recap of the homework for this week:

• Watch lecture videos 103–110, which are now online

• Read the papers in the section on "Social Welfare, Efficiency, and Inefficiency"

• Prepare summaries of the readings—and please keep them below 10 minutes so we have ample time for the project presentations:

• Prepare presentations of your projects' early results

Format of the presentation of early results

You should aim for a presentation of 20–25 minutes. This will leave ample time for feedback and discussion.

• slide 1: review the research question & positioning of the project
• slide 2: review the research method: how you will answer the question
• slides 3–5: overview of the data, model, & method
• slides 6–8: overview of the results
• slide 9: other results that you would like to obtain & future robustness checks
