[bug] [once in a million] opening the Application menu, causes the menu to freeze and stay there, making the desktop unusable

I opened the application menu from the dock, then the app-menu freezed and stayed there, so I couldn't use most of my desktop. Also the menu took the focus, so I couldn't enter any text in other windows.

I run the machine for like 1 day and 6 hours or so before the bug was triggered

This bug is probably a race condition or something, because it happened once and I can not replicate it again...

I do have a picture, though
