[bug?] applets closing with "focus follows cursor" setting turned on

Issue/Bug description:

Klicking with the mouse on the applet, then moving it on the openend window with the "focus follows cursor" setting turned on (and using low delay values) closes applet window, making the e.g. using the applet to switch between different battery modes hard to impossible to use, since it closes before you are able to click on anything in the applet.

Steps to reproduce:

• set focus follows cursor to on
• click on applet in applet bar
• move mouse over openend applet window
