Description: Cosmic workspaces

Bug Description

When having a window open in the first workspace, then moving to the second workspace and doing Super+Tab to return to the open window, a third workspace is created even though it should not. If you repeat this process now, go to the third workspace and Super+Tab to the same open window, a fourth workspace is created. This can be repeated indefinitely.

How to replicate

  1. Open cosmic-files in the first workspace
  2. Go to the second workspace
  3. Press Super+Tab (this moves you to the first workspace to the cosmic-files window)
  4. The third empty workspace is created

Pretty sure this is a cosmic-comp issue and I already have a hunch what is causing this.

Thanks for the detailed report! I'll transfer the issue to the right repo.

My pleasure @Drakulix and thanks for transferring it to the appropriate repo!
On a side note, I would very much appreciate it if you could tell me how I can check the logs of the cosmic compositor. I have another, a bit trickier, bug to submit but have no idea where to find the logs.

I bet this is closely related to pop-os/cosmic-workspaces#86
