Issue
The cosmic lock screen/login screen does not follow the user's selected desktop wallpaper settings IFF the user uses [solid] colors as the desktop wallpaper.
Desired Outcome
The cosmic lock screen/login screen follows the user's selected desktop wallpaper settings, whether a wallpaper image or a solid color. OR, a new way to select the lock screen image a la POP OS 22.04.
What Happens
Using the Comic Settings app (no other conflicting apps), select Desktop...Wallpaper...Colors (NOT wallpaper) and select a solid color.
Close Settings.
Logout.
The login screen displays the default Cosmic wallpaper background image (a galactic-type space scene) not the user-selected solid color.
Login.
Using the Comic Settings app (no other conflicting apps), select Desktop...Wallpaper...Wallpapers. Select a different wallpaper.
Close Settings.
Wallpaper image displays. Logout.
The login screen displays the newly selected wallpaper background image.
Login.
