Data Ingest - Candidate names with accents

It appears that names with accents are not ingesting properly - i think the script tries to use the accented letter in the slug, but it doesn't work.

So for example a candidates name should look like amáda-márquez-simula but instead looks like amda-mrquez-simula

Not sure how to handle this
