Installation error with ddev and TYPO3 13.4.3

With ddev composer req porthd/timer I get the error:

(1/1) Symfony\Component\DependencyInjection\Exception\RuntimeException

Class "TYPO3\CMS\Backend\View\PageLayoutViewDrawItemHookInterface" not found while loading "Porthd\Timer\Hooks\PageLayoutViewDrawItem".
