My goodness! No test suite?! That's rather brave of such arcane plumbing.

Add a test suite, such as with mocha.
Add CI, such as with GitHub Actions
Instrument coverage reporting, such as with Coveralls.

And for good measure:

Expand the README to include installation and usage information.
