Filepond is stuck at waiting for size

Describe the bug

I tried to use filepond along with filepond-plugin-image-edit but whenever I try to upload an image it gets stuck on waiting for size.

Logs

No messages are logged to the console.

Expected behavior

Filepond should throw an error if I am doing something wrong stating what is wrong or missing or the image should be opened in the editor if everything is ok.

Stacktraces

No error are thrown

Information about your project:

• Your browser and the version: Can reproduce it on Firefox and Vivaldi (both on lastest version. Vivaldi is based on chromium)
• Your operating system: Manjaro (Arch linux base)
• FilePond version: lastest

Additional context

Filepond works great and generates the preview image when using only the image preview plugin but it breaks as soon as I try to use the image edit plugin to crop the image before uploading.
