I have two monitors. My primary monitor is on the right, with a secondary monitor on the left.

No matter what I try, Menu 11 will always appear on the left monitor. None of the options for Menu Position change this, though they do change where the menu appears - just always on the wrong monitor.

Using version 8.0

Does this happens on other menu's too?

"Simple Menu" does exactly the same.

Other menus appear on the correct monitor:

  • Application Dashboard - Works correctly
  • Application Launcher (legacy kick-off style) - Works correctly
  • Application Launcher (the new KDE default menu) - Works correctly
  • Application Menu - Works correctly

Thanks for the reply, and I hope that the above is of some help. Let me know if I can provide further information.

I don't know if it'll be of any help at all - but I recorded a video of it happening vs the other menus (https://mega.nz/folder/ZJs20TAA#F8Xx6vcR0iVlJyntNauiZQ)

Same type of issue here. Mine is opening in the MIDDLE of two other windows.

This occurs with:
Menu 11 - 8.0
Simple Menu - 1.0.12

Does not occur with:
Application Menu - 2.0
Tiled Menu 41 - https://github.com/Zren/plasma-applet-tiledmenu

Okay, so this is the problem with all the floating menu's who tries to set a custom position on the screen.

If you want a temporary solution then remove the panel from the monitor you don't want your menu to appear.

It is happening because there are multiple panels so probably menu11 is opening with respect to the last panel.

Hello same issue here, using the latest version.

In my case, however i do not have multiple panels, I only have 1 single panel in one of the screens.
And independently of configuring the position or event the primary screen it always appears on the wrong one.

Screenshot for example
