Ability to create recurring posts in WordPress

It would be great to be possible to add recurring posts.
I mean a lot of publishers are creating posts on the same topic, every year in a specific time (christmas, end of year, back to school, summer, winter, anniversaries etc.)

It could work like this:

• mark posts as recurring (with some params)
• all these posts are stored somewhere and automatically published every 1st of january for the whole year (same assignee as a year before)
• this will prevent to have a big batch of posts pregenerated for 10 years upfront
• a screen to manage recurring posts would be also great :)
