Describe the issue:

pytensor is not compatible with python 3.13.1, right?

Reproducable code example:

!pip install git+https://github.com/pymc-devs/pytensor

Error message:

cannot install

PyTensor version information:

latest, i guess.

Context for the issue:

trying pymc

Hi @nipnipj, yes that's correct. We don't yet support the v3.13.x versions.

I'm not aware of any known issues, and I'm not sure if we've tried. If we're lucky, maybe it will just work and we can cut a release.

Ok, it's not ready yet. I noted some obstacles in #1199.
