In the interest of project delivery, Max suggested splitting efforts between finding/refining data sources and building the workflow we plan to use (even if that is done with inaccurate data). The point is that, once the workflow is built with "inaccurate" data, it is easy to run it with the actual data. Might be a more efficient way forward.
The next steps in workflow work are (in @asolavi's opinion, trying to go from easier to more difficult):
Clarify the interaction between pypsa-earth and pypsa-zm-data. This should be done as it was done in the pypsa-kz-data repo (which contains documentation).
Fix power plant installed capacities. Important discrepancies were found.
Create the workflow for executing several (mock) demand scenarios.
