Here's a script I wrote - if you like it I can provide the audio:
I'm sal, one of the developers of the Free Python jbos board, and today I'd like to show you how easy it is to post a job - even though our site is hosted by GitHub - you dont actually need to know how to use git. You can do it all through the web.
To get started, click on the link at the bottom of the page. That goes to our instuctions.
You can copy the latest version of the template, just select the text and press CTRL-C on a PC or Option-C on a mac.
Choose a sensible file name. You usually want to include information like the company name and if possible a job reference number.
Paste the data in, and then edit the text you just pasted by filling in all of the details.
If you are an agent remember to include the actual company you are hiring for in the Company field. Include the name of your agency in the job description.
You can choose as many tags as you want - remember to include all the technical items and the city and state of the work location. Tags help users find your advert, so put between 5 and ten of them.
Next just type in the details of the job in Markdown format - that's the same way that text is formatted on GitHub and Reddit.com by the way.
Click on "Propose new file"
and then "Create Pull Reques"
and then "Create Pull request again"
Once you see this screen it means you've submitted it and we are checking it out. If everything went well your job will waiting for us to approve it. We promise not to keep you waiting long.
When it says your pull request has been "merged and closed" it means that your job advert is about to appear online.
A screncast showing just how easy it is to cut & paste the template into GitHub's editor and make a new submission.
