Hello,

I am trying to enable SLAC as evse and connected to my car. And I obtain "bad mmv" message during the SLAC .
I can't find information about this message.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks

I have the same issue. Looking at the packets, it appears to be the case that the AR7420, in its default configuration, does not generate CM_ATTEN_PROFILE frames. It does generate anther frame in its place (0xA14E) but I have no idea what this frame is, so I am currently not able to implement SLAC correctly on the AR7420.

As far as I know, only QCA7000/QCA7005/QCA7006 chipsets/firmware support SLAC at all.

The answer is that SLAC works on the AR7420, but it does NOT implement attenuation measurement (CM_ATTEN_PROFILE). It can therefore be used on the vehicle side, but but on the EVSE side.

Hi, had the same problem using a tp-link TL-PA4010P(EU) version 5.0, this fixed it for me :

For the 'QCA7420 chip does not send ATTEN_PROFILE' - problem this works for me, I have only a 1 evse to 1 pev relation in my setup, so fake some data :
