This comes from https://community.rstudio.com/t/adapting-mastodon-widget-to-respond-to-dark-mode-toggle/178353 and forwards/forwards.github.io#5

Some JS library have dark / light theme that could sync with Quarto dark mode. Maybe adding an event that could be listened would be a way to allow those JS library to sync there change theme.

Just an idea that would allow more customisation from users.
