FreeRunner randomly hangs

Sometimes the FreeRunner hangs in suspend mode and never comes back. This is relatively rare. During this state the GSM modem stays active. If the FreeRunner's phone number is dialed in while in this state, the caller will hear a ringing signal, but the FreeRunner will not activate. Holding the power button does not resume the phone. Only removing the battery and restarting solves the issue.
