we all know it's gonna happen at some point so i'll just leave it here

if artist=Rick Astley and title=Never gonna give you up then we send this (or something with a better quality) as MOT.

AFAICT there is no reason in the standard for DAB receivers not to support this.

The image has to be smaller than 320x240 and under 50KB. For receivers that don't do APNG, the first frame should look nice.

Consider this my personal motivation for adding dynamic MOT ;)

EBU has this to say wrt to animated PNGs:

The enhanced profile extends the simple profile by defining control mechanisms to greatly enhance the presentation to
the user. This includes the ability to present the slides independently of the transmission order and to transmit a series of
slides in advance of the display time, thus allowing the images to play faster than would be permitted by a simple
profile receiver. Animation of PNG images is also enabled.
