VGA signal to PVM #577

Hello there!

I'm working on a project were effectively I would like to send a VGA signal from an old computer running windows 95/98 to a PVM-6041QM.

I modified the GBS upscaler, tested all works fine
Got myself a VGA to BNC cable (image attached)
And I also made an adapter following this guide - I understand the H and V signals have to be properly combined? (https://www.cathoderayblog.com/converting-rgbhv-to-rgbs-for-the-gbs-control/)

With or without the adapter I get a messed up image, either split in half or shaking regardless of the settings I tinker with on the GBS Control.

Am I doing the right thing using the above components/logic or do I need to take a different route?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
