Preferences window always opened at the same position

Actual Behavior

The Prefererences Window is always open at the same position on the same screen (I have a multi-screen setup)

Steps to Reproduce

• Open Prefs
• Prefs shows up at Location 1
• Move the Prefs window to a different location, call it Location 2
• Close Prefs
• Reopen Prefs (by pressing the main window "preferences" button, but it probably doesn't remember

Result

The Prefs window is back at Location 1

Expected Behavior

The Prefs window should open at Location 2

I know at one point we made an intentional decision not to store the window position and size across app restarts, but I can't remember the reason.

I can see that it makes sense to maintain the position at least while the app is running, especially for the preferences window. Not sure if it also should be persisted across restarts; I'm tempted to say yes, but wish that I remembered why we decided against it earlier.
