The vulnerability scanner displays an empty page with a banner on the first run. This banner reads "The registry scan has not been started yet. Please add your registry and start scan." and there is no direct call to action to help a user get started. The most direct way to create a registry is to expand "Advanced" in the submenu, navigate to "Registries configuration", and click "Create"; this is not very discoverable for a first time user.
Current behavior
- The Vulnerability Scanner dashboard displays only a banner on first load
- No direct call to action is rendered on the page and the user is not guided to create a registry
- Users must find Advanced → Registries to create their first registry
Proposed solution
- Show a helpful empty state when no registries/scans exist
- Include a clear primary action that routes directly to the registry creation flow
- Keep the existing banner if needed, but make the next step obvious from the page
