Describe the solution you'd like
First off, I'm a big fan of the project. Now, let's talk about the topic.
I think adding a dedicated button for color gradients would really improve the user experience because it opens up more creative and manufacturing possibilities.
I think including an option to specify the range of transition would improve the possibilities even more, with options like "gradient across the whole model" and "repeating every x layers."
Describe alternatives you've considered
Just as a side note:
I have heard about some users asking AI to generate a sequence with digits 0 and 1, a certain amount of characters and dithering techniques to achieve the desired effect.
