- Clone the repository
- Branch off of master
- cd into submodule-demo/common
- Change the readme somehow
- Commit the change from the submodule(common) repo (this is where UI's make this really nice)
- Push the changes to the submodule (common)
- Commit the submodule update to submodule-demo
- Push the changes.
