Broker does not support compression type lz4

In my example repository, i get this complaint somehow. I am pretty sure my setup is correct, but maybe i am missing something.
Example can be run here:

Steps to reproduce:

docker-compose up -d
docker-compose exec php bash
cd pure-php
php producer.php

The php extension relies on librdkafka which is manually installed, but zstd-dev and lz4-dev are also present.
I have no warning with the same setup if i use Kafka.
Any help is appreciated, i am using the latest docker image redpanda:21.4.12

Currently we support client side compression. All of them. Lz4,zstd,gzip,snappy. The broker right now doesn’t support broker side compression. We test with all of the compression. Can you try to do client side compression and see if it works with php. I tested with librdkafa and everything works. Also tested with upstream benchmarking clients too.
