Lightfield Viewport breaks after time #123
Comments
Hi @SinanAkkoyun, sorry for the late answer. Does this issue still persist or did it resolve for you? |
Hi, |
Well, not all issues are always connected to the code base – sometimes it's hardware issues, settings, Blender itself, etc. That's why I am asking despite the age of the last main branch commits. ;) This one will be tough to solve probably, because I can not easily reproduce it. Some questions for my understanding:
Furthermore, it would be helpful if you could do the following: |
I see, mb, I assumed it was a general problem
Sure, will do! Right now my windows PC is offline and I am only running a linux workstation for work but as soon as I can I will report with more precise logs, I don't know when that will be though Thank you very much for assessing my issue, I appreciate it! |
Alright, thanks. Then I will wait for further input and we will see, if we can narrow it down. |
Describe the bug
After some arbitrary time, the viewport renderer breaks and results in weird multiple of images...
Here is a lightfield screenshot of the broken view:
I have to revert the file (or reopen) to revert the breakage. Interestingly, other running instances of blender are not affected, it seems to be tied to the instance that breaks (although ofc other instances can also break)
It seems that the breaking is more likely to happen when switching to 108 views, although it has been so random that it might has nothing to do with that.
Platform & Versions (please complete the following information):
Attach log files
Head over to Blender's addon directory (Don't know where this is?), in that directory go to '/AliceLG/logs/', and attach the
pylightio.log
andalice-lg.log
here:pylightio.log
alice-lg.log
I hope that we can enjoy more realtime previews in the future, that would seal the deal for interactive lightfield modelling
Thank you so much for the awesome addon.
