Hey, I used Arduino IDE to compile and upload the code to my Wemos D1 Mini. I'm wondering how I should connect it to the internet. A wifi network named "WiLED" comes up, but I don't know the password.
Also, how do I connect it to Alexa?

Hi,
The Password is: PASSWORD

To connect with alexa just ask Alexa to discover your device. Say, "Discover my devices," See here

When I type in the D1 Mini's local IP address in the web browser, it comes up with 404: Not Found . And when I say "Discover my devices" to Alexa, it says that i need a skill for it. I'm sorry if the to this is obvious, I am really new to all of this.

Did you watch the video instruction: VIDEO

  • You need to upload this code on your ESP Module
  • Then you have to upload the Web files to ESP

OK. That's great! Is there is a specific skill that is used to make this work with Alexa? I am still a little bit confused on how that is supposed to work

Sorry for the late reply. Actually, you just need to upload this code on your ESP, connect your ESP with your home WIFI (the same WIFI where Alexa also connected) and ask Alexa to discover your device. Say, "Discover my devices,", After a while, Alexa will respond with the number of discovered devices.
